What is this site about?
Tokyo AI App Lab is a personal lab where I build small with AI, ship fast, and turn learning into revenue. It’s both a log of experiments and a place to distribute apps.
TL;DR
- What I build: Web apps, Android utilities, learning quizzes, mini-games
- What I share: how to build (implementation notes) and how to monetize (ads, IAP, affiliate, etc.)
- For: indie makers, learners, and anyone who wants to “ship small first”

.What you’ll find here
Representative apps and the kind of content you can read on the site. Everything evolves through quick iterations.
- Weather & Clock (Web): location-aware weather plus time utility.
- Bookkeeping Grade 3 – Journal Drill (Web): quick practice of common entries.
- Moped License True/False Quiz (Web): frequent T/F items for quick checks.
See all apps on the Apps list (EN) or 日本語版.
How I work (development policy)
- Small First: ship the minimum and learn from real usage
- Numbers Driven: decide improvements by feedback and metrics
- Open Notes: share implementation notes & failures on the blog
Stack: Web (React/Vanilla, Canvas, PWA), Android (Kotlin/Compose), WordPress (REST, JSON-LD).
Monetization approach
Revenue is “fuel to keep building.” I combine:
- Ads, add-ons, and subscriptions (start minimal, fit to each app)
- Affiliate (only tools/services I actually use & recommend)
- Numbers & learnings (monthly summaries on the blog when possible)
